New comer Deepika Padukone eclipsed Bollywood's other leading ladies at the Filmfare awards after party, wowing us with her breathtaking elegance in a navy blue strapless ball gown and goddess like poise and beauty.

The 21-year-old actress may be just one film old in Bollywood but she has truly arrived and is here to rule.

We don't remember having encountered such an exhilarating bundle of class and talent in a long time.

Deepika, who won awards for Fresh Face of the Year and Best Female Debutante at the 53rd Filmfare Awards, wore a tiered floor length mermaid-inspired gown that had a quilted bustier style bodice and ruffled tiers gradually becoming wider, adding volume from her knees downward.

Her hair was swept and tied at the back to give volume to her small face and accentuate her beautiful facial features. She wore mesmerizing super-sized chandelier earrings, designed by Farah Aqeel Ali (host of the party) for De Beers, and a link bracelet on her right wrist.

Deepika and Shah Rukh Khan greeted each other cordially with a hug at the party.
