4 February 2008 (Sawf News) - Ranbir Kapoor isn't dating Deepika Padukone, or Sonam Kapoor or Nandita. So whom is he dating? "Nobody. I swear to God.!" he says with charming innocence.

The 25-year-old son of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh admitted to Mid Day in a recent interview that he is very fond of Sonam Kapoor.

"She's an amazing person, amazingly beautiful… and I wouldn't blame myself if I was in love with her; but unfortunately, I am not. Now she's moved on to her next film and I have moved on to mine and we try to keep in touch," he said.

According to the tabloid press Ranbir and Deepika had briefly dated during the filming of Om Shanti Om but later split. Recently, while shooting for Yash Raj Films' Next directed by Siddharth Anand's in Australia, the two had once again picked up the threads of their earlier romance.

Ranbir rubbishes the reports.

"I met her while she was shooting for Om Shanti Om, and we realized we would be working together and I thought I should get to know her. But before I could, we got linked. I was too new to this. She was already in a relationship at the time... then the two films were being compared to each other. It started getting a little ugly. Her family was concerned, my family was concerned. Together, we decided to keep our distance and concentrate on our careers," he explains.

His current relationship with Deepkia is professional he adds.

"We have a great working relationship. Deepika isn't the sort of person to create tensions at work. We get along fine."
